amazing hockey

Today we had peter from Canterbury Hockey visit us. In hockey we were learning about how to dribble . And how to hold the hockey stick and how to stop the ball with the hockey stick. Also we had to keep it on or near the stick just pretend it was stuck with honey or other sticky stuff. First we did dribbling around the first quarter. After that we learnt how to stop and dodge other players. We had to control the ball at all times. Lastly we played rob the nest.We had to put all of the balls in the middle of the quarter of the court. We all got split up in to 4 groups we had to stand beside the hoops. When our numbers got called we ran to the middle with the hockey sticks. And dribble it back to our hoop and when all the balls were out of the middle we steal from others hoops. Then we finished up we put all of the balls back and the hockey sticks back on the line. Then we went back into class i found hard was to dribble with out crashing into each other. I found easy to keeping the ball on the stick. I learnt not to lift the hockey stick higher than our knee.
